When's the best time to fly?

June to September is when Whistler's alpine lakes and glaciers are most accessible for a landing tour, with the most reliable flying weather. Tours run year round, and a flight outside those months trades landings for dramatic snow-capped views of the Coast Mountains.

Warm layers even in summer, since temperatures at altitude and on a glacier landing are noticeably cooler than in the village.
