Cape Town's Table Mountain, the harbour, and the coastline look completely different from above, especially when the mountain's famous "tablecloth" cloud is rolling over the top.
When's the best time to fly?
Summer (November to March) is the driest, clearest season for flying. Cape Town is well known for its wind (locally called the "Cape Doctor"), which picks up in the afternoons, so a morning flight is generally the calmer option.
What should I bring?
A windbreaker, since Cape Town's wind is famous for a reason.
